I played Guild Wars a LONG while back during a world preview event, but I dont' remember much. I remember it was a good experience.
I'm currently playing World of Warcraft and I can't wait to drop it for GW, however I'm a little confused by the system that GW works.

1/ Does GW have a good strong story line or is it jsut hack and slash for no reason?

2/ Is it a game that you can play solo in, or for the most part you have to group? (ie. is it like WoW or FF11)

3/ So level 20 is the max level in this game, how long does it take to hit 20? (2 days??). And what do you do after you hit 20?

4/ Is there a difference between mainclass and subclass, ie. is your sub class limited to only certain abilities or something.

5/ I'm planning on starting a guild I read it takes 100g, 1800 g for some signet and then some. How is the income in this game? can I get 100g really fast or would it take long.

The storyline is pretty deep, and so far the Beta weekends only let people see the tip of the iceburg.

You can solo for a long time with henchman, but after a while the missions are just too hard without human help. You dont have to be part of a group for most of the early stuff though.

Levels have no effect on the amount of content you can see in the game. There is alot of stuff to do at 20 since technically, the game "starts" at 20.

On the surface the differences can be anything from max energy, max energy regeneration, armors, primary attributes and runes accesible to that class.

I assume this is the Celestial Sigil. You can win it from the Hall of Heroes or buy it. The price for it fluctuates, but I wouldnt worry about how much gold it will take to buy one. doing any mission in the area once should give you enough gold to acquire it for a decent price.

1. Yes a Great story
2. Yes but it gets harder as the game progreses
3. 30 to 49 hrs and MOST of the Content is after lvl 20
4.main class is your armor and Hp.Mp subclass is your skills
5. you can get 100g easy. in one quset talk to the prince in ascalpn city pre-sear.

There you go now that wan not so hard now you know......

And knowing is Half the battle GIJOE!!! sorry could not resist
